That rip cut slab of wood is outstanding. If I can ask, where did you get it

The wood is badger pocket sycamore and I got it on the fullmoon page on facebook.

I laid out the bp slab. There is a fully healed fracture on the back and I drew the approximate location on the face with a dotted line. Based on my experience with a previous bp slab it will fracture along the line. The first time was a surprise and now it is expected. I'll trim the 3 on the left and see what happens. I'll probably rotate the design to be under the fracture line and lose either one or two preforms.

The fracture line on the BP was only a surface feature. The edges were good and nothing fractured. Some tight cuts that I could have better with nothing that I can't deal with. The seller of the Tahoma slab mentioned a fracture. I couldn't see it but rotated the original design 90 degrees to get two cabs from the slab. The slab fractured outside the new lines and thru the old lines, so I lucked out. I got 3 preforms from the Blue Dream and nothing fractured. Things with the trim saw couldn't have been better.
