Hi All Still finishing cabs from the preform pile. I don't believe there is actually a bottom to it. And if there is, I'll start to work on the "slabs with preforms marked pile" to get it built back up....hehe. To be honest, I always cherry pick a recent slab or two to cut and cab to keep things interesting, so all of these have not been lying around forever....mostly. I've had this slab for years and I finally remembered to hxtal it up. Too brittle to work otherwise. Very vuggy with some druzy pockets. Holy smokes Craig! Each one of these is just breathtakingly beautiful. I seriously can't find a favorite amongst these. Oh and...horizontal on the Sonora Plume...

Those are gorgeous! I have not heard of several of those types before so thank you for sharing them!
I like the horizontal version of the plume as well.

Craig you are the moss boss!
Love those 2 green and gold ones. Unusual to see that color combo by itself.
Oh, and horizontal on the Sonora plume.

Wow! All of those are fantastic. Hard to pick faves, but the purple passion (love the name too) and mossy chrysocolla stand out. The gap in the red falcon doesn’t distract. Leaving it was right. I also vote for the horizontal Sonora.

I'm always a fan of the Texas and Mexican material and you knocked them out of the park. That said, the Sonora plume (no matter which way you slice it) and Chrysocolla are both outstanding.

Beautiful batch of cabs! For me, I think a natural void or vug or a little defect adds character to a cab. These are, after, all natural stones and seldom perfect. Cabbing them the way God made'em is not necessarily a bad thing.
PS: That Purple Passion....Wow!

Jeez. All are fantastic...but I'm going with the Purple Passion as my favorite. That's one amazing cab, sir!

My vote is horizontal as well, looks like a scene looking down into a coral reef.
Outstanding work, thanks for sharing!
