Hi all. Finally got a chance to get this batch out of polish and get some pics while it was still light outside. It's more of Arkie's opal wood, botswana and laguna agates, misc agates, and some jaspers. the whole batch some close-ups I shaped this one on the grinder awhile back and then just threw it into this last polish Thanks for looking Ed

Awesome job Ed, bet that was a beautiful load to look at all mixed together with all the colors. I love looking at a pile of colorful shiny rocks and knowing I helped 'em get that way. It's a great feeling of satisfaction isn't it!

Thanks all. I used the standard recipe, 60/90 until shaped, 1 week each in 120/220, 600, 1000, and 5 days in polish-tin oxide. That pet wood is really nice stuff to work with. The thinner pieces are transluscent and have nice color to them. That large dark blue laguna agate is really cool too. Almost looks like a nebula in the sunlight.
