Just finished this one- the colors in the cab look better in person, my phone camera didn't want to cooperate with this one.
Oh and there were supposed to be four wires in the bail, somebody accidentally cut one of them so now there are three! Thanks for looking...

Another nice one Mike! Don't you know, according to this new modern math, three is the new four! LOL

That is a yummy looking stone!
Truth be told, I like 3 wires instead of 4 for bails. 4 sometimes just make everything look congested.
Good job, Mike!

Thanks Robin. What I meant to say was I tried three wires this time instead of of four...

Well done. I like the stone and the wrap Thanks Stephan- Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't try to be a little more precise in my wire bending. I do it freeform just like I do my cabs.

That's your style, miket. They wouldn't be your original miket© wraps if they were done differently.

We have a festival kind of thing in our town in July, I'm considering setting up a table and trying to sell some. They're not doing any good just sitting on my desk. That will be the real test I suppose...

Oh and there were supposed to be four wires in the bail, somebody accidentally cut one of them so now there are three! I hate it when that happens! I bet they didn't even leave a note either ... "sorry Mike, I accidentally cut off one of your bail wires..." Looks good! Hornitos is one of those stones that I've found hard to photograph to really bring out how it looks in person.

Well done. I like the stone and the wrap Thanks Stephan- Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't try to be a little more precise in my wire bending. I do it freeform just like I do my cabs. I concur with hummingbirdstones. Plus, if you're expecting me to say "yes" to "more precision," you're probably asking the wrong person. To me, that is part of the charm of natural rock jewelry -- that no two pieces will ever be the same. This is, in part, why I gravitate toward free-forms. And I appreciate the same variety/artistry in wrapping. It shouldn't look like it was done by a machine. I'll keep saying it, "wabi-sabi is one of my guiding principles." Now, when you find those bail-cutting gremlins, I'm sure you'll have a word with them, right?

I don't want my wraps to look like they were done by a machine but I also don't want them to look like they were done by a blind man, either. Regardless, I'll keep having fun doing what I'm doing I suppose.
Yes I will have to talk to them for sure. It's not the first time they've struck!
