She sounds alot like me in the fact that I rarely wear jewelry either. I have jewelry boxes full, but just don't get it out. I just love collecting rocks and would like to see what I can do to accent them aside from slabbing and tumbling them. Yes, that does help with looking at the stone and making a drawing first make's alot of sense. As you can get an idea and see it first along with making any changes along the way. Thanks for posting it! I think it will help alot of us beginners.
