Hi All , Here are some wire wrapped pendants from rocks that Jeannine took to practice on Australian petwood sedimentary beachpebble which needs to go back in polish chert sapphire. Jeannine has taken such a liking to this wrapping that she has no time for anything else.... Enjoy Jack

Wow those are fantastic - Jeannine is really good at this! I love how the perspective looks too for the pictures, looks like it was taken with one of those fish eye lenses - but then again, maybe it's just past my bedtime!

Jeannine is using brass , has not yet taken to the gold as she feels she needs more practice. She also uses sterling silver. The brass is quite different to work with. Indeed you can see a bit of the ring she made . She has also made earrings and bracelets. Pics will follow soon. I love her work! She has alot of talent. How long has she been doing this? Did she teach herself or take some type of class? I am just starting out. I've been learning as much as I can before I start out. I'm hoping I can get the hang of it as I think it would be alot of fun!

Hi Debs, Jeannine has started 4 or 5 weeks ago , when she met a lady from our Gore rockhound club ( Hokonui club realy). That lady had had lessons from an Australian some time ago and now she has passed on her knowledge to Jeannine in 4 lessons. The Australian is called :" Paul Howard" . Jeannine just can't stop doing it , this hobby is VERY ADDICTIVE..and she normaly does not even wear jewelry haha.

Here is a piece of work in progress. Jeannine sets out on paper how she is going to make the pendant after looking at the stone at hand. I hope this helps other wirewrappers. Jack and Jeannine
