I had a Montana nodule sitting on my stardiamond machine that I used to keep the geysers from moving. It had a few hesitation cuts and I could see there was something inside so I decided to slab it. First slab: Lots of color and a nice pattern. I took a closer look at it.

I found one preform on the slab and there are 2+ slabs on the rock. I'll glue the rock to a board and slab it. I don't want to make a Montana cab unless I can get $30+ for it. I have a box of $10 Montanas, but they don't fit with my marketing plan. It takes twice as long to make a Montana cab and the material is unforgiving. The preform I drew on the slab is not a $30 cab. I'll trim it and put it away.
