Cut a few more today before stopping. I've realized that I don't want to have to be wearing a respirator just to work in the garage if the saw is running. Wont' stop me from cutting, but my next project is definitely going to be a combination sound dampening cabinet and air filter/ventilation system. Anyway, couple slabs of Somekindarockite, and a great example of Heckifiknowite:

You cut material with the same names of the stuff I work! LOL I love the colors in that top slab...not that the bottom slabs are shabby by any means!

The green/orange one was on your saw when you picked it up, right?
The bottom ones might be Rodeo Flats - judging by the porosity in the rind area.
Spritz those critters with a little water before you shoot the pics. It'll give the rest of us a better idea what you're seeing in-hand.

Sodalite (from a rock we picked up around 2009. Can't get over how deep the blue is), Tiger Eye, and some unknowns. The Jasper(?) right above the tiger eye is definitely the hardest stone I cut. Each of the Sodalite slabs (around 3" in size) took around a minute or so to cut, but that jasper type stone took probably 10, and I kept lifting the saw arm to (likely needlessly) ensure it was staying cool enough. I feel like I should buy a Chinesium 14" saw blade and do all my learning on that. The one that is on the saw is ... well.. not cheap.

Yes, the top one was in the saw vise. The one that might be Rodeo Flats is one that I picked up there. I'll post some pictures of them with water on them. I went and had a bit of fun just cutting some of the stones that we've had for a long time now.

One that didn't make the last photo. Not sure, but it's similar in color to what appears to be called "Cave Creek Jasper" Sure did turn the oil rust red though.
