A friend gave me this. I've never heard of it before. Seems pretty glassy and has a concoidal fracture.

That’s some pretty looking stuff!
The name seems like a similar play on words to Owyhee. My brain couldn’t decide if it wanted to translate it as koala or wallaby, but if it’s Australian, the name makes more sense.

I question whether its Quartzite though, it looks more like Chalcedony. Ill stop over and pick up a sample to have a closer look.
