Very nice. That is a beautiful bird you have, is it a flacon or what is it? Tami

Holy cow! Just rolled in from my ranch and find out Fish ahs given me my own page! Very cool Fish. Thanks much!
Tami: I'm a retired wildlife biologist and work bird (raptor) rescue and rehab for a fun hobby. The bird in the pic is one of our education birds "Grumpy" and is a Red- Shouldered Hawk. We have about 25 ambassador birds which get to go to environmental shows, schools, scout troops and stuff to teach people about raptors and their place in the ecology of the west.

Anyone who can care for a feral bird is alright with me! It takes a special person, and it takes special care. You deserve your own page, and I am glad Fish did it for you.

Cool pics! Awe...another birdie person! I have a baby ducorp cockatoo and 4 cockatiels. Birds are really interesting I think. My too is very sweet and tame along with being animated most of the time...LOL!

Debs: My wife is a hookbill person too. Has an Umbrella too and an Amazon. Neither like me much and I don't see why as I'm real lovable *L*. They sure love her though and the too is really sweet natured if a little noisy! Kinda has a thing for her white socks though. Follows her around the house trying to woo her footsies. Bird with a foot fetish...what next?..mel

I understand as they can be fascinated with the simplest things. I use to have a goffin too that came from an abused home. She was a screamer! But, I understand from the way she was treated. With Allie Marie my baby too she likes me better than my hubby. Maybe due to I am her care taker since she was a baby flown in from an aviary in Los Angeles. She is very spoiled and has to have her warm baby food every evening before bedtime. I love the umbrellas and amazons too! But, just don't have enough room for all these cages, let alone keep them supplied in toys! LOL! Just like a house of two year olds. LOL!
