That second one is totally off the charts!!! Wow...just plain wow! And I thought my "waiting list" was getting long...but 50+ years of being on the waiting list! LOL

Jasoninsd, most material was found or purchased in the 60/70's and a high percentage got cut but not finished. The wood from the Aleman Ranch/Engle got left in Jacksonville, Fl. for 15 years without being processed. The Aleman wood has been my focus the last two years. There were other good odds and ends that also came back and you see this represented in some of the tumbles. The plumes from the Marfa/Alpine/woodward ranches take a lot of time to work to get the plumes just right and some are being reworked right now to remove scratches or remove flaws-rough edges.

I never used to have any ADHD issues (and still don't really) but this hobby seems to bring out any predisposition I have for ADHD. I'll seem to have a "plan", then see a new material and just feel like I "need" to get some and work some - so I'm switching directions constantly! LOL These were definitely worth the wait...and definitely worth being worked. I have come back to this thread numerous times just to look at that second picture...that one is just so breathtakingly beautiful.
