Since everyone likes pictures, I'll put some more up. I really have to learn to take better pictures, they don't show the shine well at all. All of these ran about 5 weeks in 46/70 1 week 220 1 week in 500 1 week in 1000 10 days in tin ox. Here is what the wife knocked out in about 20 min. She was bored and started playing with the copper wire she had sitting on the table. I guess she will hand in in the garden somewhere. Anyway, on to the rock pictures, Look at these, they came from the same rock and the one stone came out super, crystal clear, and from the same batch also. This rock is pretty cool, a pic. from both ends, the tube in the center is great. Anyway, thanks for looking...

Earthdog, Really Cool Rocks...I really like the last two pictures. Is that Mookite? I'll give your wife Cheers as well! I think that little thing she made is very cool. It would look great hanging from the porch! I wish I could just pick up some scrap and a few rocks and make something like that. Nice Job Steve

Great rocks! Thanks for posting. It does really pay to do that extra step of 1000 grit, doesn't it?
And I do really like that hanging artwork your wife made. Thank you for posting it, too.

OMG ... Once again, you're killin' me, you've got some really cool stuff there. Pic 1 ... It's gorgeous, that blue is beautiful. What is it?
Pic 2 ... How cool is that, clear, semi-clear and frosted all from the same piece.
Pic 4 ... That's weird, looks like an eyeball staring at ya
Pic 6 ... Oooooo Ahhhhhhhh Oooooooooo awesome stuff, love some of the shapes you have there. You are having way tooooo much fun with that saw of yours. I think you should take a break and send it to me .... *smile* (I think I tried this with Stefan and it didn't work with him either). So what's that blue and brown piece on the top? Are these more of your slabs you bought by the boxfull?
You are definitely getting some terrific shine, way good job there, way good. Now, be sure to tell your Mrs. that I love the wire bangles she made. That is really neat and I agree, I think they would make really nice birthday presents. I know it was with copper, what gauge did she use?

Wow. What is the rock in the first pic. Great job on all the stones and your wife's garden art is awesome too. Tell us what kind of stones you've got there, they all look great.

Sweet job there Bro (give the wife a Kudos too!) Man I love the trailer too- is that all pressure treated lumber? (I ask cause I gotta start rebuilding mine this winter and I'm debating about using PT)

I hope you all don't get pissed, I don't know what type of rock that is in the first pic. Most of them came from "saw scrape" from the Gem Shop, that we picked through. I will take them back up there and ask Gene what they are. It's about time to make another run up there. (the wife is almost outta wine too) Thank you all, for the kind words. Steve, that is mookite, I grabbed a few chunks of it up there also. Cher, you gotta stop suckin up for a saw. Love ya though... Stefan, it is p.t. lumber, I finished putting the sides on it last Sunday, after I took these pic. I built the trailer so I could haul everything I want to get on the next run up to the Gem Shop, along with hauling enough wine home to keep the wife happy for the winter, when I get laid off. I sure can't haul that much in the Jag....

Top notch work and material Earthdog, I too am qiute blownaway by the blue stuff. But I also love the way the mook came out. I guess I need to take a closer look at using a 1000 grit tumble as well.
