Friend gave me a rock to see if it would turn in to anything. Wasn't really sure what would happen with the basalt but it turned out ok. Got to use the new textured grinding wheels in the garage... Was surprised at how fast those cut. Hoped it would be big enough for this month's contest but need to keep trying!

I've got two new (replacement disks) showing up on Monday, so I've got a "learning curve" coming up too!
