All i can say is i bought it labeled as dendritic opal from gems by mail along with some australian pink opal. Here is closeup of rough.

From that angle, it looks like as advertised.......with careful "carving" it should turn out some really great cab's......nice find standles, looking forward to the finished product...!

Thanks, Yep those first couple of slices were the start of finding the right angle to slice at.
