I cut a quick window on two of the agates that I pulled off of the beach yesterday. They are better than I expected. The big one has some interesting yellow, sparkley inclusions that I think warrant further investigation, and the smaller one has some faint water line banding. Pretty cool! I can see that first one being made into one of those "ice-cube" rocks.

Nice agate. Was on Guam at the naval base for a year and a half from 69-70. Never saw any rocks that caught my attention. Always found dead coral branches and parts washing up on the beach. Naval base was on the southern end of Guam and the US Air Force occupied the northern end. Island was seven miles wide and 33 miles long if I remember correctly.

More surprises from the island. I was cutting another window on one of the nodules, and noticed something moving inside. After nearly 40 years of hunting rocks, I finally found an enhydro agate. I don't know if it will remain stable, but for now, I think it is pretty cool. This should link to a video of the bubble moving around in the stone VID_20210523_100219 by nik1924, on Flickr
