What you’re doing is working well.
I rough grind my girdle to the outside of the line, then fine sand the girdle to the inside.

That's basically what I'm doing. I take the 80 grit to within a hair's width of the line, then use the 180 grit down to the line. Sometimes I'll let the 220 soft get it there too.

Hey Ed,

Eastwind did replace the disks. I was having good luck, but then they started scratching again the other day. Maybe they're still not broken in yet...

I tried using a silver Sharpie, but it bled way too much. Maybe that particular marker was just crap...

I thought I had already posted on this thread, but apparently I kept getting distracted by the photos.

That Bot is beautiful and the cab suits it perfectly.

I’m partial to the blue-containing picture jaspers but the scenes in those more than makes up for the lack of blues. Great job on framing all of those scenes!
