A Heart shaped pink sandstone rock! I found it on the banks of a creek in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. I swear I didn't do any shaping. Just had to share!  |

I failed to mention that your find is a neat one
Once you start looking for heart shapes they seem to
pop up all around. Especially in rocks.

Thanks, Ed @mohs - a few months ago, I was just telling a friend that I wish I could collect heart shaped rocks, but there wasn't much chance of that since I live nowhere near the ocean. Then, I started finding them! I even found one last weekend in the hardware store parking lot! You are right - you start seeing heart shapes everywhere. You've just got to train your eyes for finding something, then they are everywhere.
Thanks for the welcome! I have lots of questions about rocks, fossils, and tumbling; but I'm trying to space out my threads so that I'm not such a pest. =) I have learned a lot just from reading threads.
