If you've ever bought rock tumbling supplies online from The Little Red Store, the owner has informed me that a hacker has been pretending to be him, sending e-mails to people offering them a stake in the business for $350. In fact, the hacker sent one to me recently. (I realized it wasn't the owner because I was warned ahead of time and because the e-mail address had a random 0 in it, which the business address does not have.)

I just thought people might like to be informed as he's having difficulty getting rid of this person who's pretending to be him to scam rockhounds out of their money.

I hope Steve can get rid of the hacker soon. He's a good guy, been super helpful and supportive in my new hobby.

Though just a reality of the world we live in, that really sucks. I have only dealt with Steve a couple of times but he seemed very nice. Some may not know that he is the author of "Modern Rock Tumbling", a book many have used to get started in the hobby.
