OK Cher, here you go!!! Some of my back-log of rough to be tumbled... So, clockwise inward from the top we have: Bloodstone, Amazonite, Rhodonite, Green Quartz, Garnet, Amethyst, Lace Agate, Tiger Eye, Rose Quartz, Rutilated Quartz, Tourmalinated Quartz. I hope you know that I am taking time out of doing a GPS contest that could win me $1500 or more so that you have some rock pics to look at while you convalesce! No pressure Actually, I needed a break from emailing total strangers in different countries to ask them to find geocaches that are at least 3000km apart from each other "just for fun" Have a look at this link if you're wondering what i'm up to... www.vigps.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=182&Itemid=2

LOL no pressure eh? Those are beautiful, what great colors you have there. I really need to find some of that amazonite so if you don't mind, where did you get it? I just can't get over the color of it, so pretty. Tiger eye is another I want to get, maybe the blue stuff. (dreamin) I think you need to do a close up of those garnets, they look pretty good size in this one. Did you find them yourself? Thanks, that's an awesome pic, I'm sure there'll be plenty drooling over it. Now I go to look at what your getting into, I remember JC talking about this too.
Thanks again, Cher

Hey LCARS, nice lookin' rough rock. Great variety of stuff. Could you possibly post a closeup of the rhodonite? I think that's it. It's the multicolored stone at the bottom of the top three cluster. I have an I-don't-knowite that looks a lot like it and I'd like to compare. Joe

Joe, my labels go around the outside first starting from the very top in a clockwise direction & then spirals in to the center group clockwise so the Rhodonite is on the far right center. The bottom stone in the cluster of three at the very top is Bloodstone, a mostly dark or green rock with flat red specks in it (like drops of blood).
Rhodonite is pink sparkly crystals on bassalt. This stuff came from Hill 60 in Cowichan Lake on Vancouver Island.
Most of the other stones are imported except the garnet which comes from northern B.C.

Oops, so simple directions can be a challenge to me at times. So I need to look up bloodstone and compare it. Cool. Ok thanx for setting me straight on that! Joe
