Hi everyone--I have two 33B and one 33A. My problem is that the 33B do not have the metal bracket that holds the actual barrel in place. As a result both barrels in both tumblers move done to the end opposite the motor--the plastic washer there has worn done--on one to the point that the metal top is starting to rub against the tumbler end. I have tried contacting Lortone to find out if there is a fix for this--no one answers. Has anyone els had this problem and if so how do you stop or fix the situation--
Thanks in advance--

Your tumbler is missing the guides? If so, the fix is to get or make them.

Here is a picture of one of my 33B's (original motor, original belt @3 years-continuous use). The 33B doesn't have a bracket to hold the barrels in place like the QT66 or QT12. Instead it has those nylon washers you mentioned. They wear down eventually. The one closer to the motor is easier to replace so I put a wood shim underneath the opposite end of the tumbler to tilt the barrels so that they slightly lean against my selected washer. Once the washer is worn down you can replace it with a 3/8in. nylon washer from Home Depot, however, there will be a slight gap and you just have to pinch the edge of the washer with the screw. Hope this helps!
