Hey there, I have a bunch of huge Kentucky agate pieces, half cut, that are not in my keeper category. I do think they might work in the decorative/spiritual market, though, and I am wondering if anyone has any baseline for selling such rough cut pieces to a retail rock shop? These range from small nodules to 15 lb pieces. Thanks in advance!

Hi, this doesn't directly answer your baseline pricing question but my guess is that you would do better selling it direct to consumer - but then your probably trying to avoid all the packing and shipping which I don't blame you. I guess the bottom line is if you have a particular store that is interested in the material go in and talk to them and see what they will offer you. They are going to want a wholesale or lower price - maybe a quarter or half of what they think they can re-sell it for?
