I am currently running the poly plastics grit kit and will then be moving on to my local rock shops' polish. I think poly plastics is only 1200 aluminum oxide and have read on here that 14,000 aluminum oxide polish is a better polishing agent. Is Kingsley north's polish a good option? I saw they sold their silicon carbide and aluminum oxide at fairly low prices. Thanks!

I believe there are several people on here that would recommend Kingsley North's grit and polish. I think even more might recommend the grit and polish from The Rock Shed. I use theirs (they're local to me) and have had zero complaints about it. www.therockshed.com/grit.html

Kingsley doesn't appear to have Aluminum Oxide Polish. They call their stuff Alumina Polish. I order from Kingsley all the time but I have never tried Alumina.

That is interesting ? A search of Kingsley for `Aluminum Oxide' only turns up 1 result for 1000 Prepolish The AO from Rockshed works exceptionally well, makes me afraid to try the `Alumina' from Kingsley ?

They list micro-alumina (https://kingsleynorth.com/micro-alumina.html) which has a particle size of 1-3 microns, which equates to 8,000-14,000 grit.
