When I cut slabs for cabs I like to toss leftover pieces into a box and when I have enough I run them through my vib tumbler. 3 days 120, 3 days 600, 3 days 1000, 24 hours Tin Ox. Steps 2, 3 and 4 with pellets. (Trying a new server and a new lens, sorry the photos aren't all that good.) My wife is going to try her luck with some wire wrap with some of these and we are both taking a silver smithing class at our local rock club. Hate to let any go to waste if we don't have to. Bill

That's some darn pretty scrap, what's the cool green on in the bottom picture, almost looks like glass.

The green one in the bottom left is Malachite, Cher. There is a dark green on the bottom right, that is Bloodstone. Like I said, the photos didn't come out all that well. I just used a light bulb for light, I'll remember to do this with sunlight in the future, makes for better colors and contrast. Bill

Great looking load, even if they were scraps. I have to agree with everyone... the color of the malachite certainly is stunning!
