The more I cut and grind this stuff the more I fall in love with it. Just wanted to share some of the last several cabs I've worked. This one's shape isn't what I intended and would have fixed but didn't want to lose rhe scene. I see it as a first person view looking at the water and mountains in the distance while sitting in the shade under a rock outcropping . Another from Same rock- And another- And the rest all from different rocks - Thanks for looking!

I abso-freaking-lutely love this material! I have some sitting around, but I'm not sure any of what I have would stand up to those! Fantastic patterns and fantastic polish on those!

Great bunch o’ cabs but the first one has to be the best lookin’ scene ever cut in a piece of flint.

My daughter and I got quite lucky with the flint we dug up. So far has exceeded all my expectations of the material. I know we brought home some duds and some bland material too, but quite impressed with what I've cut so far. And haven't gotten into the most promising looking rough yet!

That really is some beautiful material!
The scene in the first one is fantastic! In the newest photos, it almost looks like it could have been a painting of that scene. There is a snow-capped mountain on the right and it must be wary fall because the trees on the left are starting to change color.

Beautiful cabs! I'm a big fan of Flint Ridge material, also. I'll give you several different looks.

Just beautiful. Are you going back to collect more? I was thinking about going this fall if the border opens.

You know I've been wanting to try and paint some of the scenes I've cabbed. This one would be at top of list if I do.
