That is so cool!!! I love to think that than little piece of the moon probably came from the very earth itself, millions, if not billions of years ago!

Ok i have three very different feldspar piles. They all are very showy with amazing schiller. One is a twin crystal each crystal is or was about 2 inches square it is white with a slight bluish and when cut at the best angle puts on an amazing purlesence show. The next runs from pink to turquoise with a fishscale pattern white to blood red. When cut at the best angle this one has a rainbow schiller (amozonite?). The final one is made of layers of clear green and white with some black patches and is definitely peristerite. My question is does all feldspar have this schiller if it is cut correctly. What var is so pure white with pail blue veins, is it possible to be peristerite aswell. It seems to be such a perfect crystal and the green and white peristerite seem more to be madsive in form.

here is some schiller on Pennsylvania moonstone orthoclase feldspar ? microcline ? the feldspar group is chemically complicated geological process sure do like the gleam in the desert rocks lot of that may be mica and chlorite which may not be part of the feldspar group

I am getting it now albite feldspar can be translucent to transparent, white grey green blue red pink and the pearly colour is common. So l my samples are albite. And beyond that they are not showing sparkly schiller but labradorecence.
