I'll put up one tonight then off to bed, have to get up very early tomorrow. At this point I'm soaked, the bag is soaked, the lens is soaked. The camera? I'm having second thoughts at this point but it's too late, all in. My lens cloths are dripping and there is not a dry spot left on my shirt/shorts to be had. Do my best to swipe the plastic bag with my thumb quickly to see the viewfinder but am shooting blind for the most part. Having so much fun and hoping at least some of these come out. Not the best photo but shows the conditions.

I realize, things at hand..........condensation and humidity are now the only culprits for foggy, spotty, lens bubbles.....!
They make "rain sleeves" for such, about $10.00....they work, done that.
For about $40.00, there's a company (Zonman) that makes a "bag" for longer routine use.......have a friend that uses one, like today, seasons first real rain event here.........he was out shooting (trying to), time lapse lightning strikes........when/where's the flash, right before the thunder.......lol

The lens protector worked better than expected. I was going to use a light coating of plumbers grease on the threads for added protection but decided I didn’t want struggle with removing it from the lens threads when I was done.

Good choice, no (of any kind) of grease anywhere near a camera......... Period....!
