i called sands today to see when he's heading out. he is packing and packing. he is planning to head out friday in hopes of letting this latest hurricane get by before he gets to florida. he emailed me these pics to put on here so everyone could see the sandsmobile at the beginning of this journey. click on the thumbnails to see the bigger pics:

Yeah, lemme see some pics!!! I have one just like yours Stefan it's a 2004 Layton Scout. Hubby just scraped the aweing off the damn thing cutting too close to a tree, otherwise I love it!!!

Oh and my first time out I hung it up too- Did'nt tear the awning off but bend the heck out of the Stairs- spent a good deal of time with a hammer- making them usable again
