I saw the QEP 700 xt wet tile saw on craigslist for 50 USD and was wondering if it would be a good option for a beginner trim saw for cabbing. I already have access to slab saws so I would just be using this at home and hopefully a flat lap once I find one used.

Sorry, forgot to add that it has a 7 inch blade.

If the bearings are any good your better off to buy a new saw

Thanks. If it is still on Craigslist in about 2 weeks I might try and pick it up.

If I remember correctly those saws are only like $70 or $80 new, so $50 is not a great deal unless the blade is new and the saw is super clean.
