Nice haul. I’ll be interested to see what you do with them First, I will be slabbing most, and I'll update you then! Because some of these have a large face but are fairly thin, I am going to try gluing some to a 2x4 before slabbing, using the saw vice to grab the 2x4 as opposed to the rock. I've seen this done successfully by others, but I usually slab big chunks or roundish nodules where I'm not worried about getting every last slice possible. With some of these fairly nice but thin rocks, it is probably worth it.

It seems like a long time, but in my case with so many rocks to cut it's not a big deal.

Sodium silicate is the same price. I've seen it recommended by others, but I've never used the stuff.

I use Titebond and it is "Interior" rated. It makes it easier to soften up and release the rock after a soaking.
