This is what I've been doing while waiting for a batch to finish (I'd even settle for a batch that is moving to the next stage - but I've been waiting 2 months for something to move to the next phase....) So this is what I've been doing - it's all Tami's fault again - this stuff is addictive too... It's a rainbow bracelet in half-persian 3-1 Thanks for looking

Tweet, that's really pretty, did you make all the rings yourself? That looks sturdy enough to make a really nice charm bracelet with some of those tiny little chips of rock that always make it through the barrels. Nice job!!

Thanks guys! I bought the rings & got the instructions off the net. I tried making them but would have needed too much equipment (mandrels of various sizes, saws/nippers). These rings are very sturdy - you could do a charm bracelet.
Alice you have no idea what came before beading - so many hobbies, so little money/time !

That's really cool Tweet! Do you know if those are anodized aluminum rings? They sure look like it. I learned how to do type II anodizing while working for my last employer to corrosion-proof machined aluminum plastic welding dies. I also discovered that it's a real art form! I've been wanting to anodize my tumbler lids & washers for awhile now but I haven't got a round t'wit yet...

I think Brian is just deteriorating rapidly into senility at the rusty old age of 47. Very sad. He can't quite figure out which reply button goes with which message. We really should all feel very sorry for his condition....and send him rocks.

jdennis: I got this from the www.chainmailconnection.com/ they have a construction site where you can learn weaves, there's a chat forum as well. From that site you should be able to get a ton of patterns. I also recommend this site derakon.chainmailstore.com/inst.htmlYou can get patterns & isntructions from there and see what it'll look like - the graphics are amazing

Tweetiepy:
You just do so great with your various projects. I like to be of some help to you. I'll take off some of the load. Pack up your tumblers, rough and finished rock and ship it all to me and you'll have more time for your other projects.
You really do outstanding work in rocks, pics, chains etc., etc. Don't slow down, keep it up.
