My late fiancé utilized supplemental oxygen for 4 years. The portable tanks were a pain. Back then there were not any small, portable oxygen generators.
But we adapted to the tanks. Went fishing, did Military ceremonies and some other things. He even bartended weekly, tank in tow. He was not let needing the oxygen get him down.
Guess this may be part of the reason I am not becoming discouraged. Frustrated, maybe. Had another appt. today, as swelling/pain in hands is getting worse. Oxygen levels are pretty good. After appt. had 3 vials of blood drawn. Hopefully these tests will provide an answer.

I went back to work today! Only for 3 hours, but it was something. The owner is scheduling me for 3-4 hour shifts this week and restricting what I do. The more people she told I had pneumonia, the more she learned about it. She never knew how serious it was. Some people asked how long I was in hospital. Thank goodness I did not need to be hospitalized. She does not want me to have a relapse.
Today I worked with her and her husband. I was able to do more than any of us thought I could, but behaved myself. I feel great.
Off tomorrow, then back on Tuesday. Am hoping things continue to go well.
Thank you everyone for the encouragement, thoughts and prayers. they helped a lot.

9-15 update.
I have been back to work, with restrictions for 2 weeks. On Monday, Dr. said I could go back to normal activities, within reason. Depending on what I do, am very tired at times. Meds cause unusual sleep patterns.
Have many referrals and appointments for the next couple of months.
My immune system is shot, so working at building that up. Required to wear a mask in public for at least two months. Not just for COVID, but for anything. Dr. said that even catching a cold could be detrimental.
I appreciate the kind words and support from those here.
