I am running a Lortone 33b and have gotten all sorts of grit stuck in the expired barrel shell and need ideas for cleaning it out. It drives me crazy whenever I see it. I scrubbed it down with dawn once but even that didn't get it perfect. All ideas are helpful and appreciated.

What grit are you using? Where is grit? Is it laying in the bottom after clean out? How long of tumbling cycle are you running?

Try using an old toothbrush.

How did grit get stuck on the outside of the barrel? I would think a good scrubby pad for dishwashing and some soapy water would work fine.
