Well I really worked hard on this batch- Loved it, cared for it and especially tried my darndest to get some half way decent photos- So here goes- I'm doing this from the laptop frm home so I'm not sure how they turned out- First up is a plate of goodies- From the top clockwise:Arkie Opalized Pet Wood and some Texas Pet wood, Botswana Agate and A Laker, Some whateverite, Lace Agate and some Geode chunks- In the middle of the plate is Fossil Agate then some big gravel chunks for dad, some Sweet water Agate, and some driveway gravel- oh and a couple of Burro Creek agates Recipe was as follows 2 to 6 weeks- 60/90 3 weeks straight 120/220 1 week 500F 1 week Tripoli 1 Week AO 48 hours burnish with borax

They look good Stefan. I'm about to take out some of that pet wood you sent me...its in 500 right now...along with a bunch of other junk....I want this first batch to be DONE! LOL

Nice batch there Stefan, you got some really good shine on them. Man those Botswanna's are just cool, gotta love them, I know I want more. I see you use the Tripoli as a pre-polish, have you ever tried anything else? I've got a couple bags that I'm going to have to use when I run out of my AO 1000. Can't waste it, have to use the darn stuff, even though I'd rather have the AO 1000. I'll be curious to see if I still get the same shine on the agates.

Nice batch Stefan You should blow the pictures up a little more so we can see them up real close.
Cher, you'll get a nice shine if you use tripoli. I'm certain of it.

No enlarged Pix- THat is when the problems start- Cher- All I have ever used is Tripoli- I love it- it gives me great results and is cheap- no reason to switch- Well the next batch is going on the scanner- but at least you get the shine idea!

Santa needs to get you a better camera, Steffy....i am pressing my nose to the screen and i NEED to get a closer look. they look like an excellent batch, however......got some good shine going on!
