Another reason for not wanting to work on Montana. Every line is a fracture and these didn't survive coming off the dop.

I don't collect cabs, I collect pictures of cabs. Mission accomplished. I've had issues with getting Montanas off the dop. I should have used acetone on the two that broke. The enjoyment is in the creation and except for getting them off the dop they were done.

It went from "killer cab" to "killing me" seeing that it broke!

We use the freezer trick and have only broken a couple of pendants that were highly suspect (fractures) that we shouldn't have finished anyways. Have not done any Montanas yet as I have not gotten any material better than general tumbler fodder.

I freeze them off. Montana is particularly difficult to get off the dop. For a while I would put thick double side tape between the glue so I could scrape it off. I should have suspected that part of the cab would come loose and part would be stuck, therefore a fracture.

Too bad about the breakage. It took out one of my faves.

Dang. The one on the top right was a killer cab.
