Here's a small batch that I did in one of my Thumler's barrels, with unakite, dalmatian stone, picture jasper, and some quartz crystals. Basically random rocks from other batches that were ready for polish. The picture jasper had gone through polish in an earlier batch, but was rather underwhelming. I put them back through 500 AO (7 days), 1000 AO (5 days), & AO polish (7 days) to see if I could get them shinier, but this is about it. They are very smooth, but seem to only want to take a high gloss.
Picture jasper (the stone at the bottom is just some random piece - not sure what):
A closer look at the dalmatian stone:

Some of my favorites from the unakite:

Man you are getting killer results with that Nat Geo. I’m impressed! Thanks, but these (mostly) went through my Thumler's AR2. I actually like the NG tumbler more, in fact, I recently bought a second one. But I think any tumbler can produce good results if the the operator pays attention to what the rocks are doing. I've learned an incredible amount by reading this forum, which is definitely responsible for any success I might have.

Your tumble is very nice and is what should be expected with your type of mixed material. Some rocks only give a satin polish and not water glossy as most of yours did. Your camera quality is good and what I am talking about are the small pits in the picture jasper with the satin finish.

I like the unakite. Looks like you've got the hard to tumble kind of unakite that has large grains like granite. Nevertheless, you got a good shine on them.
