I really like the cab shape and pattern.

agatewhisperer the color really isn’t what you’d expect from a Laker, is it? The banding is top-notch. Does it have shadow/parallax effect? Yes now that you mention it there is a bit of that effect when looking closely. A lot of the banding is really fine and it's pretty reflective so sometimes hard to see. Here's the other half... It has its own challenges but might be able to do a similar or matching cab later. The pattern doesn't stay the same to the other side |

I wonder if you could tilt the remaining slab face to get the pattern a bit more symmetrical, when you can get the fortifications to line up like that it always results in exceptional cabochons.
