Getting notification when someone posts on thread I created?

Hi,
how can I set my notifications settings so that I get notified when someone adds a comment or a post to a thread I created, if they did not tag me in their answer?
I get notified when someone tags me in their answer, or if they "like" my post, but if they simply add a post to comment or answer my question, I do not get notified. I need to make sure I come back to read the answers to not miss them.
I turned ON all of the notification settings I can see.
