I have a lot of favorite materials and Morrisonite is one of them. Good Morrisonite is difficult to find and too expensive for me to make and sell cabs. I have a tier system; orbs, streamers, light with good colors, dark with good colors, light with little pattern and dark with little pattern. I won't try to make a cab with the last two.
I made 4 cabs with some recently acquired Morrisonite. These were above the make/no make line and the rest were below. I also made a frog skin Tahoma from a scrap that was nicer than any of the Morrisonites. A person can do a good job cutting and polishing but the rock dictates how good a cab will be.
