Just wondering and wondering what you take for it, if anything. I've had it bad since I was pregnant with my last child in 1983. It is torture when it really acts up.
Yes, I lose sleep. Lots of it, but the drugs that will work, they won't give me and the ones they will give me are for Parkinson's and not something I want to mess with. However, I have found that a low dose of Delta 8 hemp thc works pretty damn good. Better than the dr's drugs. I don't get a high from it, just relief.

I have tried just about everything and nothing besides xanax and percocet has helped, but the docs won't give you those. Opioids and anti anxiety meds are definitely on the list of approved medications. I have been prescribed them in the past, but the war on opioids and with xanax being on the naughty list right now, I can't get them anymore.

Naomi had it years ago. Butcher's Broom seemed to help. draxe.com/nutrition/butchers-broom/NOTE: She just told me she still takes it and finds it very helpful - at health food stores $10- 15 / bottle.

Cool the butcher broom plant (ruscus aculeatus) reminds me of my favorite firethorn pyracantha A cursory wiki search reveals they share a chemical molecule glycoside the article is pretty appropriate to recent musing en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycoside#Cyanogenic_glycosidesthese glycolsdes play a role in both symbiosis & medicinal values as to RLS luckily don’t have that problem am experiencing restless sleep syndrome mostly a male aging progression pisser!

I have restless legs syndrome (it was terrible with each of my pregnancies) and I swear by Hyland's Restful Legs (Fred Meyer's, Whole Foods etc. carries in in their natural health section, or you can order it online also)

Yeah, sadly, it didn't work for me. I'm starting to get it in my arm now. According to the latest treatment guidelines from Mayo Clinic (July 2021), brain iron deficiency is the most likely cause. They recommend iron first, then dopamine drugs like for Parkinson's, then sedatives/anti anxiety (for sleep really) and as a last resort- opioids. Right now the Delta 8 is working, but I expect it to become illegal soon.

Yup, tried that, too. I also had a spray on kind for psoriasis but it didn't work.

Hope you are able to find something to get better. I don't have RLS but occasionally kick a wall while I sleep. My sore foot wakes me up and the monster in my dream never gets me.

My wife has it. The doc prescribed Gabapentin (generic for Neurontin). It works for her. She's been taking it for about a year now and so far so good.

My partner has it and she says when I aggressively massage her legs before she sleeps it helps. Now, do you have something I can do for my hands after all that work.

I was very skeptical when my wife got me one of these for my back. www.amazon.com/Massager-Percussion-Adjustable-Comfortable-Soreness/dp/B08F35JJDZI am now a believer. Give your hands a rest and try one of these on her legs. The better ones have various attachments and intensity controls. I've used mine on various muscle cramps throughout my body and it definitely helps. Most recently I used it to rehab a torn calf muscle, used gently it really seemed to get the blood flowing to the traumatized area and loosen things up.

Try a cup of caffeinated coffee say 2 to 3 am if unable to go to sleep. Read or do computer for 1 to 2 hours then go back to sleep. Try wild lettuce from the health store. Capsules are easiest, from reputable source.
