i got this with the african rocks and have no idea what it is exactly or what you are suppose to do with it. i have these pieces on ebay basically saying i have no clue lol. they look fragile, have mica on them that makes them glitter, look to me like they would fall all to pieces if you tried to tumble them and are too fractured looking to cab. so what do you think they are? and are they speciman rocks, landscaping rocks, what? wet/outdoors close-up wet/outdoors dry/indoor - think you can better see the fractured look here and the mica shining at the top kim

That one on the left in the top pic sure is pretty. Were they just extras tossed in as bonus rocks with your order? Any chance you could contact the ones you got it from to ask them?

cher i've sent gerdus an email asking more about it. i have about 100 lbs of it. wish i had a tumbler open i'd throw some in just to see what happens. unfortunately i can entertain myself with a piece outside in the sun for way too long lol. i showed them to some other people last night and they entertained themselves for awhile too. they aren't into rocks but wanted to put a piece in their flower garden and another beside a pond.

Looks like calcite. The second from the left in front almost looks like calcite on matrix. One way to check is if it flouresces under UV lighting. (It will also bubble under a drop of vinegar or dilute HCl.)

Well, if you don't know what to do with it, send some to me and I'll see what comes up.
