Sheeeesh! Once again, you've made me froth at the mouth. Dang, you do great work! Some of the best wire wraps I've seen. Love the pics. Steve

In answer to your questions - I don't really have any design in mind beforehand. First, I just look at the stone/cab and try decide where I want to place the bindings. I'm working on symmetry. It's more about what the wire wants to do, trying to "go with the flow" and being patient. Frustration is your worst enemy. At the end, the bail just kind of "makes itself". I'm sure design will factor into this when I get better at making the wire do what I want it to do...right now the wire rules. It takes about an hour to make a pendant. I get most of my wire from www.riogrande.com/, that is certainly where the twisted silver wire came from. I probably won't buy any more twisted wire. I would rather twist my own. I recommend anyone learning use dead soft wire, although I prefer half-hard and am working up to hard wire. The harder the wire the less forgiving it is to work with. I am really only learning, myself, having been inspired to learn by www.banjo-creek.com/ (Mike Hagstrom) and www.nattywraps.com/ (Isaac Le FeVere). If I could combine a little of both of their work into my own, I'd be real happy. Banjo's work is very clean and precise and Isaac's is so textured... Now I need a cabmaker... Susan PS: I'm not sure what that cab on the left is, looks like some kind of jasper. I picked up a bunch of cabs at www.mamasminerals.com/. Next time I go in I'll take it with me and ask them. The middle piece is Tigereye and the one on the right is Moss Agate.
