Sorry for so many questions/post lately, but I need some input. Need to grind a curve in the back of some Ammonites to epoxy some beads. The beads will be used as a bail, of sorts. I am making some multi stone-fossil necklaces. The stringing material will run through the textured copper beads that will be epoxied to the back of the Ammonites. The initial ones I am trying this with are a little over 1/8" thick where the grinding is needed. They are fairly hard and not that fragile. I am a little afraid to use the Dremel for making the grooves. I have some chain saw sharpening files. I think they would be perfect to do this. What do you think? Here are the initial victims. Thank you.
