I agree on the dino bone. But I don't see any palm wood in those pics. The one after the dino looks like some kind of agate to me, not sure what kind though.

At first I thought the dino bone was the palm wood.
Since I don't have my saw/grinder up and running yet I just broke them up and will be tumbling them, I got some beautiful shapes after I broke it up. I literally got a heavy bath mat folded it half and half again then put a towe on top of that and put the rock between the folds of the towel and used a small hammer to break up the thinner slabs.

Since she was so nice in giving it to me I plan on makeing her something special, either with some of the finished rock or something chainmail.
