;D Sunday is Tumbler Day around here! don't always get a batch out of polish, but i do get to check all my barrels and generally play with rocks. we got the snow plow attached today with minimum grief and maximum grease, so it was a relief to have the rest of the day to play without incident. here is the latest bits and pieces batch, had to work with the fading sunlight so the new fish are swimming sideways: closeup of some of the very red mexican lace, this stuff was in 60/90 forever and i just moved another batch up to #2 grind today after 6 weeks in 60/90: some of the more stubborn pet wood from Pho, turned out nice in the end: and some saw scraps from cutting all the fish, also some of the Pietersite scraps, took a decent shine in the tumbler: and here are all the fish, just got to add some eyeballs and the strings: thanks for looking! KD

Wow! Neat fish and it was well worth the wait on the red lace. It's looking real fine!

Great batch, yet again. That Mexican lace is absolutely stunning! Hey look, you created "mushroom rock" (extracted from your first pic):

Tumbled pietersite looks mostly yellow (very nice), cabs were mostly blue. Is that right?
Fish are great. Hope you hit a home run with your aquarium idea.

KD, that angelfish is BITCHIN! I just love those fish, do you ever sell any? I've had some snow quartz in 60/90 for over four weeks and it looks like they'll be in there for at least one more before they're ready so I know how you feel. I was smart & staggered my three barrels to avoid getting too antsy waiting for the grit to finish doing it's job. I emptied a barrel last night & it will be put back into service tommorow on some ass't gem rough I got a month ago. Now I get to break out the hammer & chisel! Yippeee!! ;D

Wow KD. Forget the fish bowl, looks like you've moved up to aquarium status. Nice job. The mex lace is very nice too. The thin slices of brazilian agate look really cool. Still my fav.
