After a week of 103F fever, trying to sleep and coughing up a lung or two, I've started to feel a little better, although now I'm only coughing up a lung instead of two Went to pick up the kids at my parents & bought pumpkins (usually they're purchased in early to mid Oct and started decorating about a week before halloween - I had 8 last year). This year they were small for my taste and my flu wiped me out for carving, but at my parents, we all got out the pumpkins & pokers & carved & sculped away - this is the result. Here is one my 5 year old son did with a bit of help from my mom - she had the spider on her small pumpkin - his is on the left, hubby carved the one on the right My haunted house my extra pumpkin - forgot we got one extra (they had started to rot from the inside so we got an extra). did this one at the last minute And this one my 10 year old daughter decided to try - it's a sculpted pumpkin to get the orange Tigger stripes - she did pretty good - but it doesn't photo well - hubby did this one 4 years ago and had problems too - so I'm pretty proud of her. Sorry they're a bit blurry - camera shake & a 5 year old running in front of the camera [glow=red,2,300]Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeen Everybooooooooody![/glow]

Glad to hear you're feeling better Tweety, I've been wondering how you were doing. Your pumpkins are great and your daughter did terrific on Tigger. Great job on all of them.

Very nice Tweet. We carved our pumkins last week and now they are laying in a puddle, well on their way to being compost.
