Wanted to put this out there for anyone shopping around. We started out with the Skil Tile saw from Lowes last year (or year before now... can't remember) and it did a fabulous job (we cut up mostly jasper and agate) but finally fell apart a few weeks ago. I ran down to Lowes to pick up another one but they didn't have the Skil brand so decided to grab their house brand Project Source and it's an improvement over the SKIL. Holds more water and doesn't spray as horribly. It's holding up well so far.

I miss the old Worke FOrce from Home Depot. Best $77 I ever spent. After too many years (like 16 now) it still runs great. I have worn out 5 blades (that is 1000's of cuts). WIth the new 14" HP saw the old work force just doesn't see as much action anymore.

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite
