I've been cutting preforms for the last several weeks...and I was really noticing how very few smaller preforms I've made so far...and I think you can count on two fingers the amount of cabs I've made as small as yours! LOL - That's a really fantastic cab. Great dome...great polish...just flat-out great!  What material is that, by the way? |

I’ve been gaining an appreciation for small cabs, mainly in the time it doesn’t take to cut them. The rock is chrysoprase that I picked up from Australian outback mining during a trip to Tucson in 2014. Yeah...every time I'm grinding on one of my numerous 30-40mm cabs, I'm constantly asking myself, "Ummm...why?" LOL |
