Yeah...but everyone loves bacon! Even deer. I remember on one trip, people I was with were feeding the deer with leftovers, which is already wrong, but that fact that they loved bacon was a tad disturbing. Stephen, I'd almost bet that the deer were after the salt in the bacon.

Someone posted a video on here of a deer eating a bird...and not the cooked kind! That was disturbing! LOL I guess many "herbivores" just lack the equipment for hunting their food efficiently, but will scavenge a calorie-dense meal when it is available.

Stephen, I'd almost bet that the deer were after the salt in the bacon. I'm sure that was at least part of it. One of my friends does call bacon "salt lick for people."

There is a somewhat new store near me that has a lot of natural products for bulk purchase. They also have attachments to go on fruit jars for dispensing. Customers can leave any jars there for others to use.

I'm going to need a bigger squeegee to gather up all of this plastic...!!! This is so sad, 'dule. I don't understand how people can just throw stuff anywhere but a garbage can. Way back when my mother drilled it into my and my sisters' heads that you don't throw anything on the ground or anywhere else it didn't belong. You used a garbage can and if one wasn't available, you carried it until you found one or got home. Thank you for doing your garbage patrols at the beach and to everyone else who cleans up other people's garbage out in nature.

We broke up some mahogany last night, and got a bunch of small chips. Was gonna throw them away but they were perfect for coasters!

Aside from having clean beaches Beach Cleanup can be rewarding in other ways, like finding Japanese fishing floats It always amazes me to find glass floats laying on the Rocks

We did some reorganizing of our storage in our home. I took a 20+ year old Ikea dresser apart that was in our storage room and have repurposed it as a shelf for some of my rock supplies like grit. I shortened it so I have a work surface, too. We also decided to remove some of those annoying, folding closet doors from a room and leave the closet permanently accessible. Despite them being mostly hollow, I cut a couple of the doors down and made shelves in my new shop and for another closet.
