I bought a few pounds of this. When I got the package I wasn't real impressed. There were some gold streaks but not a whole lot of them. I've had a batch tumbling for a while and did a cleanout for stage 1 the other day out in the sun. Man, these things are looking awesome. Lots of glistening lines (rutiles?) inside that don't show up until you start getting some crust off. I think they're going to look great when they're done. Also a little variety with some purple tinted pieces and even a couple of small crystal clusters.

The oil on the outside of these sometimes makes them not look so cool. I do wash them but it doesnt all come off. Tony |

ashleyI have a barrel of the Rutile Quartz in right now. I was disappointed when it arrived but am very pleased with it now that it's been tumbling. If you get some you will love it
