I realized that my first post here sort of bypassed the "New to the forum? Please Introduce Yourself" thing. So, before too much more time goes by...
Hello, I'm Ed from Charles Town WV. As mentioned in my first posting, on a lark last year, my wife and I bought three 3-pound tumblers from Harbor Freight to give as gifts to a couple of our grand-children, keeping one for ourselves. Our first couple of tumbles were some semi-precious stuff bought online to see how to do it. Those tumbles had mixed results, some good and some not-so-good.
Since then, we (mostly me) have become enthralled with this hobby. So far, I've mostly done multiple tumbles using pounds of river rock from our garden for a rock-based back-splash for our kitchen sink. When the current batch of river stones is done, I plan on doing a half-and-half tumble of some Bahia Agates and Sanskrit Stones.
Oh, and I'm still trying to convince my wife that we need a good double-barrel tumbler.

Hey Ed! Welcome to the forum from South "By God" Dakota! (I thought it was a requirement to call it West By God Virginia for some reason. ) With regards to this statement: "Oh, and I'm still trying to convince my wife that we need a good double-barrel tumbler." I've learned from a very young age it's FAR easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission! (Just food for thought! LOL)
